Global Youth Peace Summit

This was our 4th year at the Global Youth Peace Summit, but my first as a counselor.

I spent the week alongside some of our world’s most incredible and encouraging youth. Throughout the week we developed strong relationships and respect for each other and our respective cultures.

Big thanks to the Amala Foundation for allowing us to be a part of something so powerful. I have so much love for this community!

Volunteering at Tender Heart

In November Nick and I visited India with a small group to volunteer at the Tender Heart School and adventure a bit. While staying at the school during the first week of our trip, we painted a classroom and taught various art classes. Some of these photos are in the education page, but here are a few other photos from the school.

The staff at the school was incredible- they took good care of us and prepared our hearts for the rest of the trip. If anyone is interested in volunteering with Tender Heart (I totally recommend it!) – learn more at http://tenderheartfoundation.org  or  contact Elena Colon: lenacolon@gmail.com

Working from Seale, AL

A couple weeks ago, I flew to Alabama to start working on the Museum of Wonder site with Butch Anthony. Jeff Moerchen, a photographer from the City of New York was also staying for the week to begin new series of work.

We cooked, slept and worked… even made time for a little graffiti.

The new Museum of Wonder site should be launched in the next couple of weeks- so check back soon!
