Ballet Austin

Since 2019, we have collaborated with the wonderful team at Ballet Austin to create their annual book – a printed piece that encapsulates the essence of each season with show descriptions, dates, and custom artwork unique to each to each production, as well as member and donor information. From strategy and messaging to art direction for photography, show branding, poster artwork and book design, the ELD team worked closely with the organization to develop goals, define unique qualities for each show and develop a seasonal look & feel.

Beginning with a strategy session each year to gather details to help us set the tone of the season, we used this process to inform the book’s creative direction, and shape language around the celebration of milestone events. Once the voice was established we began designing logotypes for each performance and developed poster artwork that incorporated photographic, collage and illustrative elements for a contemporary depiction of traditional productions.

Taking care to thoughtfully arrange the new company photography, show artwork, donor information and seating charts, we aim to create a cohesive and beautiful keepsake catalog each year for Ballet Austin members.
